¹ú²úÂ×Àí Is the Place to Be! First-Year Student Numbers Return to Pre-Pandemic Levels

¹ú²úÂ×Àí’s Class of 2026 has arrived on the Kent Campus in strong numbers – 4,251 to be exact – an increase of nearly 7% over the previous year, the largest class since before the pandemic and the eighth largest incoming class in the university’s 112-year history.

Researchers Gather LGBTQ+ Stories of Resilience During the Pandemic

Molly Merryman, Ph.D., associate professor in ¹ú²úÂ×Àí’s School of Peace and Conflict Studies, and Lauren Vachon, assistant professor in ¹ú²úÂ×Àí’s LGBTQ studies program and coordinator of the LGBTQ studies minor program, were instrumental in obtaining a $35,000 grant from the U.S. Department of State for the project Resilience During the Pandemic: LGBTQ+ Stories.
